Things I am Thankful for #13: Podcasts and Blogs

I’ve only had an iPod since last Christmas, thanks to Mom and Richard, but I’ve been reading blogs and blogging since long before that. The two are similar mediums that serve similar, yet distinct, purposes. Anyone can blog, and it’s easy. What’s more, if you can find the gems, the truly talented bloggers, then you have multiple streams of free knowledge and thoughts. Podcasting, while almost and anyone can do as well, is slightly more difficult and a little less accessible. There are also a lot of talented podcasters out there, but one of the drawbacks to podcasts is that they take longer to consume – so you have to pick a few that you like and stick with them.

Here are some podcasts I listen to:

  1. Renewing Your Mind
  2. Mark Driscoll Sermons
  3. Focus on the Family

These are some of the blogs I follow:

  1. Ligonier Ministries Blog
  2. Christ Church Men’s Blog
  3. Cassia Offerings
  4. Brent Bennett
