We got our Christmas tree today. We thought it would be nice to start a tradition of going to cut our tree as a family. Turns out, it’s too expensive. We went to the May-Lan Tree Plantation and the cheapest trees that we would have even considered buying started at $55. Some traditions just aren’t worth it. We ended up getting a Douglas Fir from Lowe’s for $23. It’s perfect.
That is one thing I hated about living in SC was the price of trees. One year we paid $125 for a tree…was worth it though it ended up being Beccas last Christmas so its nice to have that memory. Post some pics when it is decorated.
