AI and robotics disruption is coming whether we like it or not.
Regardless of your feelings about AI, it would be wise for all of us to develop diverse streams of earned income to mitigate the risk of job displacement from both AI and robots.
I hear a lot of people discussing the job disruptions that are coming due to advances in AI saying that people should focus more on the trades like plumbing, HVAC, and electrical because AI can't do those jobs as well as humans.
My rebuttal is to challenge you to research advances in robotics technology over the last 10 years. Robots are doing things today that are mind blowing.
Robots are coming for the trades.
We must adapt.
